Events In Washington State That You Must Check Out This December 2022

As everyone is living this season of giving and sharing, there are lots of events and activities to enjoy with family and friends around Evergreen State. This blog will give you a glimpse of those events that you must see and attend.

Winter at Seattle Center - (December 10 - 31, 2022)

Enjoy holiday lights, folk dancers, carolers, musicians, model trains, and Saturday ice sculptors during Winterfest at the Seattle Center. Throughout the five-week celebration, those in search of uplifting seasonal spirit or delightful diversion will find performances, our Winter Train & Village, our annual campus lighting display, and a New Year's Eve Celebration. 

                                                                     

Amazing Bubble Man - (December 29 - 30, 2022 (2 p.m.)

Louis Pearl has been thrilling audiences around the world for over 30 years with the art, magic, science, and fun of bubbles. He is a favorite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he has enjoyed twelve years of sell-out success.

"Explores the breathtaking dynamics of bubbles, combining comedy and artistry with audience participation and enough spellbinding bubble tricks to keep everyone mesmerized” at Kirkland Performance Center, 350 Kirkland Ave. in Kirkland. 



The Wiz - (December 7 - 23, 2022) 

Dorothy and her companions sing and dance to rock, gospel, and soul traveling through the magical land of African-American Oz in The Wiz, with brand-new staging at The 5th Avenue Theatre, 1308 5th Ave. in Seattle.



Nutcracker ballet - (December 8 - 27, 2022) 

Pacific Northwest Ballet performs The Nutcracker by George Balanchine, with a live orchestra, magnificent sets and costumes, and a huge cast in McCaw Hall, 321 Mercer St. at Seattle Center.


Bellevue Street Show - (November 25 – December 24, 2022) 

Experience the wonder of falling snow, dazzling lights, festive music, toy drummers, and dancers in this complimentary nightly parade of holiday floats. Join us on the sidewalks between Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square from NE 4th to NE 8th Streets every night at 7 pm. Park in any of our free parking garages and choose your favorite spot on the sidewalk to see the show.


Holiday on the Bay 2022 - (December 3, from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.)

Head out to the Port of Everett’s Holiday on the Bay 2022, on Saturday, December 3, from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. for an all-day extraordinary extravaganza at Pacific Rim Plaza. Participate in all of the free family fun, including crafts for children, touch-a-truck, cookie making, face painting, music, and so much more. 

Stay for the tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m., and you’ll even encounter a visit from Santa and his elves. Promptly following at 6 p.m. is the lighted boat parade featuring a colorful row of lights by boat. Ending this fantastic night are two drive-in movies at Boxcar Park. Make your movie reservations now and enjoy this incredible family-friendly event right in the heart of Everett. Holiday on the Bay 2022 will light up your December holiday season.

Christmas Boat Parade - (December 9, 2022 (8 to 9:30 p.m.)

As is tradition on Parade of Boats night, brightly decorated boats will convene in Lake Union and begin their promenade westward through the Fremont Cut. The 65-lit and decorated boats begin passing through at about 8:20 p.m.
